Weekly Update July 3, 2026

July 3, 2026

To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community

As we celebrate Independence Day this weekend, we join communities across our wonderful nation in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. For two and a half centuries, our country has been shaped by the ideals of freedom, opportunity, perseverance, and hope. It is also a time to reflect on the many generations who have helped build and strengthen our nation, including the veterans, families, caregivers, and community members who have contributed in countless ways.

Whether you're gathering with family and friends, enjoying a neighborhood barbecue, watching fireworks, or simply taking in a peaceful summer day, we hope this holiday brings you moments of joy, gratitude, and connection. From all of us at Solheim, we wish you a safe, happy, and memorable Independence Day. Please remember to stay hydrated, take precautions in the summer heat, and enjoy the festivities safely.

Welcome Back, Connie!
We are pleased to announce the return of hairdresser Connie Truong to Solheim! Connie will begin offering hair appointments on Friday, July 10. We are excited to welcome Connie back to Solheim and look forward to having her provide her services to our residents once again.

As always, be sure to check the community calendar for activities, events, educational opportunities, outings, and gatherings throughout the week. There is always something happening at Solheim, and we look forward to sharing another wonderful week together.
