As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day next week, we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday. This year is especially meaningful as our nation marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a milestone that reminds us of the values of freedom, service, and community. Whether you're spending time with family, enjoying one of our campus celebrations, or simply relaxing with loved ones, we hope you have a wonderful Fourth of July.
Our new MealSuite Portal continues to roll out, making meal ordering more convenient for residents and families. Beginning the week of July 13, paper menus for select meals in the Health Center will be phased out, with families completing menu selections through the portal. Residents may also make their selections using a tablet with assistance or on their own personal device, as able. The portal is also available for Residential Living delivery tray orders. Additional training opportunities will be announced soon, and a community tablet will be available for residents who do not have a personal device.
As we approach the end of the quarter, we'd like to remind residents, family members, and staff about our Solheim Feeling Employee Recognition Program. Have you experienced a team member who consistently demonstrates kindness, compassion, exceptional service, or goes above and beyond to create the Solheim Feeling? We'd love to hear from you. Recognition forms are available at the Front Desk, Nursing Stations, or online at www.solheimsenior.org/employee-recognition. Your nominations help us celebrate those who make a meaningful difference in our community every day.
