Weekly Update February 27, 2026

February 27, 2026
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our family members who joined us for last evening’s Meet and Greet. Opportunities like this allow us to share updates, encourage open dialogue, and strengthen transparency. When we exchange information and invite feedback, we build stronger partnerships that directly benefit our residents and enhance the care and community we provide together. Your questions, insights, and presence truly matter.

Continuing that spirit of partnership, this is a reminder that the deadline for our Resident Satisfaction Survey is quickly approaching. If you have not yet completed it, we strongly encourage you to do so. Your feedback helps guide improvements and ensures we continue enhancing the Solheim experience for everyone.

Many of you met Amber Reynolds, our new Director of Residential Health & Wellness during the Meet and Greet, and we invite you to say hello as you see her throughout campus and help her get to know our community. We are very happy to have her here and look forward to the leadership she brings to Solheim.

As a reminder, guests visiting the Halvorson Memory Care Neighborhood during evening hours are asked to please sign in at the Memory Care entrance. During regular business hours, all visitors should continue to sign in at the front desk. These procedures help us maintain the safety and security of everyone in our community, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Beginning Monday, our office hours will be extended until 6:00 p.m. to better accommodate families and visitors. We hope these expanded hours provide added convenience and accessibility.

We would also like to remind visitors that the loading zone is intended for brief use only. Keeping this space open ensures safe and convenient access for residents with mobility needs, medical transportation, and deliveries. Thank you for helping us keep this area available for those who rely on it most.

It is hard to believe February is quickly turning into March.  Our March calendar will be filled with wonderful activities and opportunities for connection — we look forward to seeing many of you participate.

All staff working on our Skilled Nursing Campus are required to wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask or higher-level respirator. Visitors to the Health Center are required to wear a mask and will be offered a COVID-19 antigen test prior to entry.
