Weekly Update February 13, 2026
February 13, 2026
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
As we move through February, our hearts naturally turn toward love, gratitude, and connection. Valentine’s Day reminds us that love is not just something we celebrate once a year—it is something we practice every day. At Solheim, we see love in action in the smiles shared over meals, the helping hands offered without hesitation, the friendships that continue to grow, and the compassion that defines our community. The “Solheim Feeling” is built on kindness, respect, and joy in living, and each of you plays an important part in making this such a special place to call home.
As we head into the holiday weekend, we hope everyone enjoys time to relax, connect, and recharge.
We want to emphasize how important it is for every resident to return the Resident Satisfaction Survey. Your voice truly matters. The feedback you provide guides our decisions, helps us improve services, and ensures we continue to meet your needs and expectations. Whether it is dining, activities, maintenance, healthcare, or overall community life, your input gives us the direction we need to grow stronger. If you have not yet completed your survey, please take a few moments to do so and return it. It makes an enormous difference, and we carefully review every response.
To participate in this important survey, please follow the link below by February 20th:

There is also plenty to enjoy in the coming days. The Olympics continue to inspire us with stories of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance. Be sure to catch the events and cheer on your favorite athletes—it is always exciting to watch the world come together in friendly competition. And as always, we encourage you to check your weekly calendars and tune in to our in-house Channel 1390 for the latest updates, activities, and programming available right here at Solheim.
Thank you for being such an essential part of this community. Wishing you a warm Valentine’s Day and a wonderful holiday weekend filled with connection and joy.
All staff working on our Skilled Nursing Campus are required to wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask or higher-level respirator. Visitors to the Health Center are required to wear a mask and will be offered a COVID-19 antigen test prior to entry.
