Happy New Year! As we enter 2026, we do so with gratitude for God’s faithfulness, deep appreciation for our community, and confidence in the work ahead at Solheim.

At this time last year, we shared our anticipation for the start of Phase 1 of the Merton Manor Refresh. This project reflected our ongoing commitment to creating an environment that is welcoming, safe, and dignified for all who call Solheim home.

I am pleased to share that we successfully completed both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of this effort. Phase 1 included new carpeting throughout the corridors, fresh paint on walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, as well as updated handrails and molding on the first and second floors of the Merton and Manor building. Phase 2 expanded and opened our front lobby, creating a more inviting and functional entrance to our community. While we are awaiting the arrival of new furniture to complete the space, the improvements have already made a meaningful difference.

As we look ahead, we remain focused on strengthening our community and supporting abundant living for our residents. Our January calendar is now available, and we encourage everyone to participate in the many activities and gatherings planned for the month.

Scripture reminds us, “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore” (Psalm 121:8). This promise continues to guide our work as we care for one another with love, dignity, and compassion.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. We wish you a year marked by good health, peace, and purpose as you pursue the goals and commitments before you.

As a reminder, all staff working on our Skilled Nursing Campus are required to wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask or higher-level respirator. Visitors to the Health Center are required to wear a mask and will be offered a COVID-19 antigen test prior to entry.
