Weekly Update December 27, 2024
December 27, 2024
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
As we close out a fabulous year at Solheim Senior Community, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the moments of joy, connection, and kindness that made 2024 truly special.
A special thank you to our Board of Directors for their vision and leadership, which continues to set a strong direction for our future. We are equally grateful to our dedicated staff, whose hard work and compassion bring life to our mission every day, and to our residents and family members who partner with us in creating a warm and thriving community.
Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to continue our journey of serving our residents with excellence, making meaningful improvements to our community, and growing to embrace the changes that inevitably come with the passage of time. Together, we’ll ensure that the Solheim Feeling—our commitment to compassion, active kindness, and joy in living—remains at the heart of all we do.
As we prepare for New Year’s celebrations and welcome more family visits, we’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of infection prevention protocols, especially during flu season. These include wearing masks, frequent handwashing, and maintaining distance in group settings where you may not know everyone. By keeping these practices in mind, we can help ensure a healthy and happy start to the New Year for all.
Here’s to a bright and promising 2025!
All staff in our Skilled Nursing Campus must wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask or higher-level respirator. Visitors to our Health Center (Skilled Nursing) are required to wear a mask and will be offered a COVID-19 antigen test before entry.
