To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
Today is the last day to RSVP with up to 2 additional guests for our Thanksgiving Buffet on Thursday, November 28th, at 12:00 pm for $30 per guest. For details, please reach out to Ashley Brayman at 323-257-7518 x224 or abrayman@solheimsenior.org.
We’re pleased to share with you that we’ve made some office changes, and Ashley Brayman has now relocated to a new office near the front desk. Feel free to stop by her office with any questions or just to say hello! However, please remember to check in at the front desk, as you would when visiting anyone in our front office area. This move also paves the way for the exciting expansion of our Library, and we’re thrilled to embark on this next phase!
We are ready to close our “Resident Satisfaction Survey”, however there’s still time If you haven’t yet filled yours out,—either pick up a paper copy at the front desk or contact Ashley to complete it digitally. Your feedback is essential to help us improve as we head into 2025. Thank you for your participation!
I’m thrilled to announce our Employees of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter of 2024. They are: Sonia Lopez in our Skilled Nursing Campus; Peter Flores in Dining; Victoria Giambalvo in Administration; David Ramirez in Facilities; and Floreza Quintana in our Residential Care Campus (Halvorson Memory Care and Residential/Assisted Living). Each of them has gone above and beyond to help make Solheim a loving home for so many. Please congratulate them when you see them!
Celebrating our staff is one of our greatest joys. Solheim’s employees are truly our most valuable asset, and their dedication is a key reason why we continue to shine as a 5-Star Campus. This holiday season, I invite you to honor their hard work by contributing towards our Employee Appreciation Fund by December 8th. You may visit www.solheimsenior.org/donate and choose Employee Appreciation, or drop a check or cash off at the front desk.
By contributing to our Employee Appreciation Fund, you’ll be directly supporting the dedicated team members who provide compassionate care to our residents every day. Since Solheim has a no-tipping policy, donations to this fund—whether now or throughout the year—offers a meaningful way to say thank you for their kindness, skill, and dedication. Our staff is truly Solheim's greatest asset, and your support and words of encouragement mean so much. Once again, visit www.solheimsenior.org/donate to donate by December 8th.
All staff in our Skilled Nursing Campus must wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask or higher-level respirator. Visitors to our Health Center (Skilled Nursing) are required to wear a mask and will be offered a COVID-19 antigen test before entry.
If you have any specific questions, please direct them to Tina Antypas at 323-257-7518 X225 or tantypas@solheimsenior.org.
