Weekly Update March 27, 2026
March 20, 2026
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
As we look ahead to next week, we enter Holy Week—a sacred and meaningful time in the Christian tradition. It is a week that invites reflection, renewal, and hope, beginning with Palm Sunday and leading to the joy of Easter. For many, this is a deeply spiritual journey marked by remembrance, gratitude, and faith.
Even for those who observe the season in a more secular way, Holy Week can be a time to pause, reflect on what matters most, and embrace themes of renewal, compassion, and new beginnings. However you observe this week, we wish you peace, comfort, and moments of quiet reflection.
We invite you to join us for worship throughout the week, with Palm Sunday service at 2:00pm, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services at 3:00pm, and Easter Sunday service at 2:00pm.
We’re delighted to share that we have a few new faces around Solheim as we welcome new residents into our community. Moving into a new place can be both exciting and a little overwhelming. If you remember your own first days here, you know how much a friendly greeting or a helping hand can mean.
Let’s continue to embody the Solheim Feeling by extending kindness, offering directions, sharing a meal, or simply saying hello. These small gestures go a long way in helping our newest neighbors feel at home—we’re so glad they’re here!
We’d also like to share a small operational update: our Laundry Services will now be managed by our Facilities team. This transition helps streamline services and ensures continued support for residents. If you have any questions or need assistance with laundry, please feel free to reach out to Lyner Nuevo, who will be happy to help.
Even though temperatures are cooling slightly, it’s still important to stay mindful of your health and well-being. Please remember to stay well hydrated and take advantage of the hydration stations located throughout campus. Your comfort is very important to us. If you experience any issues with your air conditioning, please contact your nursing station or the front desk so we can assist you promptly. Your health, safety, and comfort remain our top priorities.
All staff working on our Skilled Nursing Campus are required to wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask or higher-level respirator. Visitors to the Health Center are required to wear a mask and will be offered a COVID-19 antigen test prior to entry.
