To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
On Valentine's Day, lovers, friends and family members exchange Valentine Gifts as expressions of love. We have created a special opportunity for you to share your love by purchasing a Solheim card and gift for one of our residents. For just $30 each, you will bring joy to one of our residents as he or she feels loved this Valentine’s Day from receiving your card and special gift.
This Valentine’s Day, glorify the spirit of love and experience the “Solheim Feeling”—active kindness, community and purpose with a heartfelt joy in living—through the purchase of a Valentine’s Day Gift for one of our residents. You may make your gift by donating online at https://solheimsenior.org/donate or mailing a check to our office. Please reach out to Tina Antypas (tantypas@solheimsenior.org) for more information!
We mentioned this last week, but it bears repeating: as part of our Centennial Celebration this year, we’re making plans to host a Fashion Show highlighting all of the decades that have passed since our founding back in 1923! There are many ways you can help with this fun event. If you’re a history buff and would like to help us gather information of the various decades to craft an informative presentation of the times, we’d love your help! If you’ve been storing clothes from the years gone by (that can be modeled), we’d also love your help! If you’re interested in modeling these clothes, we’d love to put you up on the runway! This event will involve not only our cherished residents and their friends and family members, but also the greater Eagle Rock community which has now supported us for a full century. Please contact Ashley Brayman (abrayman@solheimsenior.org) or Tina Antypas (tantypas@solheimsenior.org) for more information.
Visitation Guidelines have been updated. Proof of negative COVID-19 tests are no longer required; however, you may request a rapid test if you desire.
All visitors will be screened for a recent diagnosis of COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19 infection, and close contact exposure.
As of today, we have no new residents or staff who have tested positive for Covid-19.
