We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in our Blood Drive this past Wednesday and our Shredding Event earlier today. These events not only benefit our immediate community but also help us connect with the greater community. Your support and enthusiasm are truly appreciated.

Yesterday marked the first day of summer, and you can already feel the wonderfully warm weather gracing us! As we embrace this delightful season, it's essential to remember the importance of staying hydrated. Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: it helps regulate body temperature, keeps joints lubricated, prevents infections, delivers nutrients to cells, and ensures our organs function properly. Additionally, being well-hydrated improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.

To support your hydration, we have conveniently placed hydration stations throughout our campus, stocked with delicious fruit-infused water. We encourage you to make the most of these stations and develop healthy water consumption habits. Enjoy the refreshing taste and stay hydrated!

As we bask in the warmth of summer, we invite you to step outside and experience the wonderful benefits the sun has to offer. Not only does the sunshine lift our spirits, but it also boosts our health, providing us with essential Vitamin D and improving our overall well-being.

This is also the perfect time to visit with friends and family in our many outdoor spaces or find a peaceful corner to enjoy a good book. The flowers are in full bloom, the air is clear, and the birds are serenading us with their cheerful songs.  We encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful time of year!

So, put on your sun hats, apply that sunscreen, and let’s embrace the joys of summer together. Here’s to sunny days, good health, and the wonderful memories we will create!

Masks are strongly recommended for visitors. Staff are no longer required to wear a mask in the Health Center/Skilled Nursing campus. All Solheim visitors and staff members must continue to conduct self-screening for symptoms of possible COVID-19 infection prior to entry.
