Celebrating the First Week of Spring at Solheim
We had a fantastic first week of Spring here at Solheim! Between the 80-degree sunshine and surprise rain, nature reminded us of spring’s playful beauty. This season brings renewal, growth, and joyful surprises—and sometimes summerlike warmth followed by a sudden shower!

As the weather shifts, we invite you to enjoy our beautiful outdoor spaces—take a garden stroll, relax on a sunny bench, or enjoy a patio meal. And don’t forget to stay hydrated as temperatures rise!

Outdoor Fun and Community Highlights
Our residents embraced the new season with some truly special activities. A standout was Dinner Under the Stars, featuring a five-course tasting menu by Chef Brooke—an unforgettable evening of fine dining and connection.

We also cheered for the Dodgers Opening Day with a festive social, and enjoyed a peaceful and inspiring outing to The Huntington Library and Gardens.

Stay tuned for our April Monthly Calendar and next Weekly Informer. For daily updates and reminders of the many enriching opportunities happening all across campus, check out In-House Channel 1390!

You can pick up a recognition slip at the front desk or nursing stations, or submit your nomination online at www.solheimsenior.org/employee-recognition. Your kind words make a big difference in honoring the compassion and dedication of our team.

And remember, contributions to the Employee Appreciation Fund are welcome year-round. Visit www.solheimsenior.org/donate or connect with Tina Antypas to learn how you can make a recurring donation.
