Weekly Update December 13, 2024

December 13, 2024
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community

As we embrace the joy and warmth of the holiday season, we celebrate the diversity of traditions that make this time of year special for everyone. We encourage all to share and enjoy the unique customs and celebrations they bring, enriching our community with their spirit. At the same time, we recognize that this season can be challenging for some, and we ask everyone to approach these moments with kindness and respect, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all. This evening, we honor the beauty of the Festival of Lights as we illuminate our breezeway, a reminder of hope, connection, and the light we bring to one another during this special time.

Employee Appreciation Fund Contributions are still being accepted through December 22nd . This is your opportunity to express gratitude to the incredible team members who tirelessly support our residents every day.  To contribute, visit www.solheimsenior.org/donate and select "Employee Appreciation," or drop off a check or cash at the front desk.

As Solheim has a no-tipping policy, this fund is a wonderful way to show your appreciation for our staff’s kindness, skill, and dedication. Every gift—no matter the size—makes a meaningful impact. Let’s come together this holiday season to celebrate and uplift our remarkable staff.  Visit www.solheimsenior.org/donate to contribute by December 22nd. Thank you for your generosity and for being part of the Solheim family!

Our Special Christmas Lunch is coming up this Thursday, December 19th, at 12:00 PM.  Please note that today is the deadline for reservations.
