To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
(Note: Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, this will serve as our Weekly Update.)
On behalf of Solheim’s entire Leadership Team and staff, I want to wish our entire Solheim Family a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. May your holiday be filled with love and laughter while you share a wonderful meal with family and friends. As I have mentioned before, we are entering the season where we collectively pause to take stock and give thanks for all of the blessings that life has bestowed upon us – and I know that I am personally grateful to be a part of the wonderful community that has made Solheim what it is for the past 100 years. Thank you all for all that you do, each and every day, to help create “The Solheim Feeling.”
As we enter this season of gratitude and reflection, it becomes increasingly clear how integral our staff is to the exceptional care provided at our facility. Their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts are the cornerstone of our community's well-being. In recognition of this, we warmly invite you to join us in showing your deep appreciation for their commitment. Every year at this time, we offer a meaningful way to express your gratitude: by contributing to the Employee Appreciation Fund. Your generous donations, which can be made until Friday, December 8th, will be distributed equally among our staff, serving as a tangible testament to your support and recognition of their invaluable service.
While expressions of gratitude can be shared through our “Solheim Feeling” Employee Recognition nomination cards available at the front desk and nursing stations, or online at www.solheimsenior.org/employee-recognition, a monetary gift elevates your appreciation to a tangible act of support. These contributions, regardless of size, go beyond mere financial assistance; they embody a powerful acknowledgment of the hard work, dedication, and heart our staff pour into their roles every day. To make your donation, please visit www.solheimsenior.org/donate and choose the Employee Appreciation option. Together, in this season of giving, let's unite to uplift and celebrate those who dedicate themselves to serving our community with such extraordinary devotion.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars and join us on December 9th from 1pm-5pm we will hold our Spirit of Giving Christmas Boutique where you’ll have an opportunity to visit vendor tables to purchase some wonderful Christmas gifts! Santa will visit us between 1:30pm and 3:30pm, so be sure to bring your family for photos, and enjoy a festive afternoon with Christmas Carols, Sweets and Treats, and an opportunity to shop, while benefiting Solheim!
