Weekly Update August 11, 2023
August 11, 2023
To: Solheim Employees, Residents, Family Members and Stakeholders
From: Sam Oden, CEO of Solheim Senior Community
I am pleased to announce that our dining reservation system which we implemented this week in our Residential Dining Room has been generally well received, and we have already implemented changes to the program based on resident feedback! I appreciate the efforts made by our entire team to help implement this new system! We all know change can be stressful, and I truly appreciate the patience and open-mindedness that I have seen from so many of our residents as we “work out the bugs” in this new system. Thank you all – and of course, as we continue to move forward, I encourage you to continue to share your constructive feedback. Your feedback is critical to our continued success and our ability to make changes that will improve your experience living at Solheim!
Adam Yarian, hosted a “refresher” with some of our residents this week regarding Solheim’s HIPAA policies. We will host another gathering in the near future, and I encourage you to join the conversation as you’re able – this is an important topic. I’d also like to remind you that as we move forward with our Cable and Internet upgrade in the next few weeks, we will be working with you individually to determine if you’d like to take advantage of our new package, or remain with your current set up. For those residents who have family members handling this for them, we will also reach out to the family members directly. We plan on doing everything in our power to make this as smooth a transition as possible!
Remember to mark your calendars for our Centennial year celebrations and consider contributing towards an ad in our Centennial Tribute Book as well! Check out the Centennial website at www.solheimsenior.org/100. Come celebrate with us! Upcoming events include:
