SOLHEIM/EAGLE ROCK MUTUAL SUPPORT
Solheim has occupied its current location for the entire 100 years of its existence, expanding from a single home to a two-and-a-half-acre campus. Throughout its history, Solheim has been championed by the residents of Eagle Rock. For example, during the expansion of the 1950s, a columnist writing in the Eagle Rock Sentinel said: … “our people are silently pleased and gratified that such improvements are not only helpful to the community of which they are very proud, but they add much to the general program of making Eagle Rock a desirable place in which to live.” That attitude of support by the Eagle Rock community has continued through the years. In turn, to provide support for the community, Solheim offers activities on campus that welcome not only family members of residents but also the public.
