The Heart of Our Highland Park Senior Living: Whole-Person Wellness

Great senior living means caring for more than physical health. At Solheim, we believe that true wellness is about mind, body, and spirit, and that belief is woven into everything we do. Our approach to senior living includes full-spectrum care, personalized to each resident’s medical, emotional, and social needs.

Each resident begins with a tailored wellness assessment that guides everything from nutrition and medication to activity levels and personal routines. We support residents with mobility assistance, personal hygiene, medication reminders, and more, all delivered with warmth and professionalism. Our staff is trained not only to provide clinical care but to do so with dignity, patience, and attention to emotional well-being.

We work in partnership with families and medical providers to ensure that each person’s care is proactive and informed. Our on-site services include coordination with outside physical, speech, and occupational therapists. We also emphasize nutrition as a cornerstone of health, offering fresh, balanced meals with accommodations for dietary needs such as low-sodium, diabetic, or heart-healthy options.

Cognitive engagement is just as important as physical support. That’s why we incorporate brain games, storytelling circles, music therapy, and creative arts into daily life. We understand that maintaining memory, attention, and a sense of identity helps residents feel confident and connected. Through our comprehensive care and vibrant programming, residents don’t just receive support; they gain a renewed sense of purpose.
